Magnificent Monday - May 11

This week, we are working to ask and answer questions in an informational text.  

Our books this week will be about Social Studies topics.  

When you’re done listening, talk about the book.  Tell what you learned.

Think about last week’s lesson on stretching words.  By the end of Kindergarten, kids should consistently be writing a sound for most consonants and short vowels.  

Today, we will put two consonants together to make blends(fl like in flower…br like in brow).

Though we have missed each other these last few weeks, we have had a wonderful school year.  

This week, we’ll use our writing skills to write all about our kindergarten memories.  

If you’re unable to print, your child can use the ideas to create a book on their own paper.
